Wow, these Israeli right-wingers are ridiculous. Read what one of the march leaders said:

There is in Umm al-Fahm a gang of hooligans, who think they can win using violence. The State of Israel is the Jewish people's state. We are here to voice our truth and not to create provocations.

So you're not out to provoke the Israeli-Arabs, just march around a predominantly Arab town with a flag with a big Star of David on it and proclaim it's a JEWISH STATE?

If the state wasn't the representation of a religion, maybe this would be acceptable, but we're not in some alternate reality here.

And of course this is all behind the pretense of politics:

Mr Lieberman advocates transferring majority-Arab areas in Israel to the control of the Palestinian Authority, and wants to bring in a citizenship law demanding that all Israeli citizens, including Israeli-Arabs, swear allegiance to Israel as a Jewish state.

They always have to add "as a Jewish state," not just Israel. Essentially, they want all minority religions in Israel to bow before the primary one.

If they meant Jews as a race instead of the religion, that's even worse. Master Race anyone?

When I use the term Israeli Occupied Palestine for the country you can guess what side of this debate I'm on... pretty far to the left. I think the only reason the Jews were put there was because a couple sick bastards were trying to fulfill Revelation Prophecy. Of course, no use complaining over it now, there were Jews before, now there's just more. The funny thing is, there wasn't such a heavy crazy anti-jewish sentiment before. Muslims didn't respect Judaism as much as their own religion but until Israel came into the picture and started shoving their wait around then pulling the victim card out at every shove back, the two religions lived in relative peace. I'm talking pretty shallow history here, obviously the old Kingdom of Israel didn't hold hands and sing with their neighbors.
